Hello Oak Grove Teachers! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you find something you love. These light covers are cut to fit the ceiling lights in OGES classrooms. Please stop by Mrs Hopkins (4th) or Mrs Hawkins (5th) to see some of these covers in person.
Classroom light covers diffuse florescent overhead lights in classrooms, offices, and hospitals. We pulled from our roots in the printing industry to create products for everyday use and easy updates where you live and work. This product uses backlit film, a flexible sheet of transparent plastic with no adhesive backing. Classroom Light Covers sit on top of the florescent light cover. Typical lights are 2ft by 4ft, and our covers are cut slightly smaller than this to allow the cover to fit inside the fixture. Trimming shouldn't be necessary, but the material is easy to cut if necessary. Each cover changes the color of light in the room, and diffuse the brightness.
Timing: In general, orders can be placed at any time. If the inventory is in stock, I can deliver to OGES within a few days. If the inventory is not in stock, or the order is custom, then orders will take 3-4 weeks to deliver. For this first set of orders, I'll collect orders until Christmas break and should be able to deliver them by the first week of school in January.
Customization: You can select any of these designs, or contact me to create a custom design for your classroom. Custom designs are the same price as the stock designs, but they may take longer to make (since you and I will need to nail down the details of your design). I'd love to work with you to come up with the design that works best for you - whether you want to find images to reflect subject you're covering (like the space images in Mrs Hopkins room) or you want to find an image that fills your room with a certain color light, please contact me to discuss! Pricing: This page is private for OGES and all covers for OGES teachers are $15/cover with free shipping. You'll select products from the regular website (see below) but you'll use the discount code OGES to get the pricing of $15/cover and free shipping. There is no minimum or maximum quantity per order.
